Chase Park Trees

Home > Chase Park Trees

Chase Park, located on Cross Street, is a treasure. The park contains a diverse collection of many mature trees as well as young ones planted to replace trees lost to storms and disease. Friends of Trees has been active in the park by planting trees, clearing the area beneath them, and providing water bags to give the young ones sufficient water during the hot and dry summers.

In 2016, Friends of Trees selected 25 noteworthy trees and labeled them with their names and a QR code that allows the user to learn useful information about the species. These trees are on the interactive mobile tour. Below are those labeled trees.
