Chatham's Notable Trees

Home > Chatham's Notable Trees

Chatham has spectacular ocean vistas, a quaint downtown, and an active and dedicated community of citizens. It also has some wonderful trees - some beautiful and very old trees, by Cape standards. Many of these trees are on private property, but can be appreciated from a public way. The property owners, the stewards of these noteworthy trees, are to be commended for the preservation of these large tress that benefit all of us.

Many of the 'notable trees' are located in the Old Village and in North Chatham, as these were the first areas to be populated and developed. Here are just a few of those wonderful trees.
